Ad 1) sikovny webmailer je IMP, viz http://horde.org/imp/ 
Soucasna verze 3.0, provozujeme bez problemu 2.6.x uz par mesicu na
FreeBSD 4.x.

"IMP is the Internet Messaging Program. It is written in PHP and
provides webmail access to IMAP and POP3 accounts.

There are currently two branches of IMP. IMP 3.0 is the stable branch,
and is strongly recommended over 2.2. It requires a recent PHP4 and
version 2.0 of the Horde framework. It adds advanced features such as
searching multiple mailboxes, identities, and a hierarchical mailbox
navigator, as well as a cleaner, redesigned user interface.
IMP 2.2 is the previous stable branch. It uses PHPLIB for session
management, handles MIME attachments (it passes the "MIME Torture Test"
that UW makes available), and is made available for sites not yet
prepared to move to IMP 3.0. It works with both PHP3 and PHP4, which is
useful for sites in transition..."

Ahoj vespolek,
 1.potreboval ,bych nejaky jednoduchy a spolehlivy webmail pres pop3 a
smtp.  2.mam na starosti terminalovy server (pppd,chap-secrets)
uzivatele si 
chteji menit
    hesla pres webove rozhrani sami ,takze jak na to?Vim jak to vypada 
treba na
    quick.cz,ale nevim presne co je k tomu vse potreba udelat.
